LIC NEFT Registration – Easy & Friendly Guide

LIC NEFT Registration – Easy & Friendly Guide

What’s this for?
So that LIC can directly send your policy payments—like maturity amount, survival benefits, or refunds—straight to your bank account. No cheques, no waiting.

Here’s how you do it:

  • Step 1: Log in to LIC’s Customer Portal
Head over to licindia.in and sign in with your User ID and Password. If you haven’t registered yet, you’ll need to sign up first—it’s quick.

  • Step 2: Go to Service Requests
Once you’re in, look for the section called “Service Request(s)”—this is where all the magic happens.

  • Step 3: Select NEFT Registration
From the list of services, choose “NEFT Registration.” This is the option that lets you link your bank account.

  • Step 4: Fill in Your Bank Details
You’ll be asked to enter your account number, IFSC code, bank name, and branch. Double-check everything to avoid mistakes.

  • Step 5: Upload a Few Documents
    You’ll need to upload:

    • A scanned copy of a cancelled cheque (with your name printed on it)
    • Your PAN card
    • Your signature (can be scanned or digitally drawn)
  • Step 6: Submit the Request
Once everything’s filled in and uploaded, hit submit. You’ll get a confirmation message, and LIC will take it from there.

That’s it!
Once approved, your future payments will go straight to your bank—no paperwork, no delays. If you ever change your bank account, you can update it the same way.
